EU Product Liability Directive is enforced by National courts of EU member states. The next dated milestone falls on Dec 9, 2026, 128 days away: Member-state transposition deadline. In practice that means knowing which of your AI systems fall in scope across every sector you operate in, holding assessments that speak to safety & robustness, liability & redress and governance & accountability, and being able to produce that evidence on request, including for systems built outside the jurisdiction.
